Hi, I feel weird doing this as it's not exactly urgent, but it's my current goal to move away from my family. I was lured home under false pretenses after going no contact with my abusive mother. In my year living with them I have been subjected to emotional abuse and financial exploitation. I have no privacy and very little say in how my free time is spent--attempts at setting boundaries lead to threats of losing shelter.
I have finally found a new job that should eventually enable me to move out, but with the goal in reach, I feel increasingly anxious to get there. I still have plenty of my own bills plus an increased financial responsibility to my family, and I am worried I may be delayed. This is not urgent because I should be able to save eventually, but I am mentally and emotionally drained from living with my family and desperately want to move out before the year's end. If you have any money to spare that could help bolster my savings (at least a deposit and first month's rent), I would really appreciate it.
